Tell our readers a bit about yourself?
I’m a Canadian sci-fi author with one novel released and one that should be out sometime in April.
Briefly describe your writing day.
Usually, I start when I get off work. I’ll write for a couple hours, make something to eat and then write until it’s time to go to bed.
What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?
I can’t type with all my fingers. I couldn’t ever figure it out. So, I write with my index fingers.
Do you have a secret talent readers would be surprised by?
I’m a talented singer, and I play drums and bass
In your view, who are the best science fiction writers?
The best is tough to say. I know a lot of people really enjoy authors such as Clark, Asimov and Dick, three authors I’ve been unable to get into. Personally, I’ve always enjoyed Michael Crichton.
What was the best money you ever spent as a writer?
A decent printer. It really pays to be able to print a lot of pages all at once.
What was your hardest scene to write?
I’d tell you, but it’s a major spoiler for The Engine What Runs the World.
Do you frequent any conventions? What is your favorite or home convention?
I have never been to a convention. Noit as an artist, nor as a fan.
Trek or Wars?
How long have you been writing?
I started when I was twelve. Soooo, seventeen years. It took some time to actually become a good writer.
What do you love about space opera? Did you start in this genre or just find yourself in it?
Funnily enough, the novel I’m writing now is a space opera.
When I forst got into sci-fi, space opera was what I loved. I enjoyed seeing the ships, the aliens and everything it entailed. I think what reat really drew me in was the thrill of adventure and the wonder of what was ahead.

The Engine What Runs the World
In the year 4324, technology has all but failed mankind, leaving a large social and economic gap between the wealthy that live in the tower, and everyone else surviving in levels below the surface of the earth.
Private detective, Smoke Callahan, already escaped the lower levels, but a suspicious case involving an elite tower resident will take Smoke back into the troubled depths of his past, and will thrust him headlong into a collision with a secret that the very pit of the earth hides. Smoke is faced with the toughest choices no man should have to make in a race against evil that will use the secret to bring death and destruction to all of humanity.
Last What are you dying to tell me or talk about?
I will be continuing to do reviews. I’m not accepting new books in at this time as I have one hell of a list ahead of me, but I’ll get there.
